MacDougall Dormitory and Rice Teaching Center

Nestled in secluded "Looper Hollow" is the MacDougall Dormitory and Daniel F. and Ada L. Rice Teaching Center. Made possible by a matching grant from the Chicago area Rice Foundation, this facility centralizes CAA field school activities and safely introduces students to the natural environment.
The building is a two-story structure housing a laboratory, classroom and dormitory facilities for forty students.

Outdoor learning experiences are facilitated by the reconstructed prehistoric village and native plants garden located on the dormitory grounds.
