Archeology for Adults 50+

Residential: 1 week
During this week reserved for adults 50 years and older, we will excavate during the mornings. Afternoons are reserved for lectures and activities on archeological method and theory, prehistory of the lower Illinois River Valley, and other topics of interest. Participants then join our staff in the evenings and try their hand at a variety of prehistoric technologies including flintknapping and pottery making.

Cost: Call for current price (includes room and board).
Participants can claim a portion of the tuition charge ($100) as
a tax-deductible contribution to the CAA.
