A weekend of family fun and learning! This weekend is reserved for families who want to experience archeology together. Mornings are spent in the field, working with staff archeologists as part of the CAA research team and afternoons are spent in the lab processing artifacts and a variety of "hands-on" activities. The hands-on activities are designed to enrich understanding of Native technologies and how archeologists reconstruct the past. Native American games, house building, foodways, campfire and storytelling are just some of the exciting activities planned. Suitable for children from age 5. At least one adult for every two children must also participate in the program.
Cost: group rates available (includes room and board).
Dates
