Junior High Field School: Exploring Past Lifeways


Like our high school program, junior high students are introduced to archeological method and theory and excavate working closely with archeologists. Participants learn artifact identification, process artifacts in the laboratory, and learn about prehistoric technologies through hands-on activities. Day activities are shortened with excavation stopped early in the afternoon followed by laboratory processing.
