Hi everyone!

My name is Zhengwei Zhang, I study Archaeology at Sichuan University in China and am now at the Center for American Archeology (Kampsville, Illinois) as a visiting scholar.

I came here to learn about how American archaeologists do their field work and analyze data collected from field.

Although we have so many ways to learn about human culture, for me, archaeology is the most interesting way. Only in archaeology can we learn about how humans lived in the past, how humans’ activities have changed over thousands of years, and about the differences and similarities between our ancestors and ourselves.

I am looking forward to learning something new and making many new friends here!
