The Center for American Archeology is a not-for-profit 501 (c)3 organization. Our primary sources of revenue are donations, tuition dollars, and grants – we do not receive direct state or federal support. We depend on your donations to help us fulfill our mission of education, research, and public outreach in archeology. Each and every donation matters and makes our work possible!
Please consider making a tax-deductible contribution today. There are many ways to give:
One Time Gifts
If you would like to make a one-time contribution, you can use this button to donate any amount you choose.
Giving in honor of those who have touched your life – family members, friends, colleagues, teachers, mentors – is a unique way to commemorate their lives.
Does your employer have a matching gift program? As a not-for-profit organization, the Center for American Archeology is eligible for many employers’ corporate matching gifts programs.
You may double or even triple your gift to the CAA!
When the CAA receives a request, we will notify your employer that we have received a donation and verify its eligibility to be matched. Your employer will then fulfill the match to the CAA according to its funds payment schedule.
Estate Planning, Stocks & Annuities, Retirement Planning, Memorial Gifts, and In-Kind Donations
We realize that in today’s economic climate, more pressures than ever before are being exerted on financial resources. We are committed to helping our contributors discover special ways to continue playing an active supporting role while they preserve or even enhance their overall financial security. For example:
Making charitable gifts may help to minimize capital gain, income, and estate taxes, and if you’re over 70.5, it may be possible for you to make certain tax-free gifts from your IRA.
A gift through your will or living trust is a convenient way to continue to support your charitable interests while still maintaining control of your assets during your lifetime.
Gifts of a life insurance policy or proceeds of a policy can also be an excellent way to give.
Giving in honor of those who have touched your life is a special way of demonstrating your care.
In-Kind Donations help the CAA meet its material needs and may be tax deductible.
If you have any questions about making a donation, please call us at 618-653-4316 or email Mary Pirkl Crawford. Thank you!
