Give your family the opportunity to learn about prehistoric peoples and archeology and explore the scientific process. Family Excavation Day combines an introduction to archeological excavation with the exploration of prehistoric life. Join us for a fun day of discovery!

Program Details: The program runs from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm on Saturday, June 11 and July 30. Tuition is $40 per person and covers supplies and instruction. Food is not included in the program. Bring a picnic lunch or dine at a local restaurant. View the tentative schedule.

Who May Enroll: Children ages 7-17 and their families and guardians.

Upon receipt, we will send you a confirmation by email, a packet of additional information, and instructions for payment. Either full payment or a 30% deposit will secure your spot in the program.

If you have not received confirmation, we have not received your application!

Participants get to wash the artifacts they excavate

Registration for the program closes one week prior to the start of each session. Register early to reserve a space for your family. Enrollment is limited to 15 people per session.
